Lundi 19 octobre. Voici ce qui se passe.
De saison en octobre
Tout voir- Go chestnut picking
Chestnut groves in El Bierzo, the Genal Valley, Sierra de Francia or the Tiétar Valley fill with burrs. Ask permission on private land.
- Go mushroom foraging
Soria, the Pyrenees and the hills of León and Zamora are the classics. Check each area's foraging rules and permits.
- See autumn colours in a beech forest
Irati, Montejo, Tejera Negra or Otzarreta turn gold in a few weeks. Go on a weekday to avoid full visitor quotas.
- Hear the red deer rut
At dawn and dusk in Monfragüe, Cabañeros, Sierra de Andújar or Riaño. Bring binoculars and keep quiet.
- Visit a museum for free
Many state museums offer free entry at set times, such as evenings or Sundays. Check each museum's hours.
