World Teachers’ Day 2026: teacher stories and the Google and TED idea search
A collection of stories from teachers around the world who use technology in the classroom, and the global search for innovative educators launched by Google and TED.
For World Teachers’ Day, Google has published a collection of first-person stories from teachers on how they tackle everyday challenges and use technology, including AI, to help students grasp complex concepts, create engaging lessons and support critical thinking.
Together with TED, Google has also launched a global idea search for educators who are innovating with technology and have ideas worth sharing. The educators with the most compelling ideas get the chance to give their talk on the TED stage. To take part, you register for the Idea Workshop explained on the page itself.
