A relief map of the whole world where you zoom in to any point on the planet and the colour palette adjusts to the altitudes of the area you are looking at.
Relief → World is an interactive elevation map of the whole planet. You explore it by zooming and dragging to any place in the world.
What sets it apart is the colour. Elevation maps usually use the same scale for the entire globe, so one plain is hard to tell from another. Here, the palette is recalculated from the altitude range of the area in front of you, so you can see the subtle shapes of the terrain in a mountain range as well as on an almost flat plain.
A good toy for geography browsing: look up your region, a valley or an island and let the colours show you what the terrain is like.
