NASA’s Eyes on the Earth: the planet seen by satellites
The Earth edition of NASA’s Eyes: a free 3D app to see our planet through the data and images of NASA’s Earth-observing satellites.
Eyes on the Earth is part of NASA’s Eyes and turns its gaze on our own planet. It lets you follow NASA’s Earth science missions’ satellites in real time and see how they observe the planet from space.
It also shows Earth’s “vital signs”, such as carbon dioxide, ozone and sea level, along with satellite imagery of major weather events. You can pick a date range and replay global data and imagery going back as far as twenty years.
It runs in your browser, with nothing to download, and it is free.
